Dr. Swoboda is a translational scientist, family nurse practitioner, and wound specialist at Third Coast Vascular in Milwaukee, WI. They are a Professor of Nursing at Carthage College, and serve as principal investigator for quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and research projects. Dr. Swoboda serves on the board of directors for the SALSAL, WOCNCB and the AAWC, as well as various committees for the NPIAP, Wound Healing Society, WCCC, Alliance of Wound Care Stakeholders, and the American Heart Association's Peripheral Arterial Disease Collaborative. Dr. Swoboda is committed to health equity, and volunteers at the local, regional, national, and international levels to increase access to quality health care.
