Dr. Stewart is the President of Stewart Consulting, an adjunct Senior Associate Clinical Professor at Daemen University, the former President of Gaymar Industries Inc., and the former VP of Clinical Affairs for Stryker’s Medical Division. In 1986, Dr. Stewart founded the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel. He has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, a book chapter on Support Surfaces, and holds various patents for the therapeutic control of patient temperature. He is presently an Editorial Board member for the International Wound Journal and an Editorial Board member and past Department Editor for Wounds.
