Marissa Carter is President of Strategic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) and designs and analyzes clinical trials and interventions; analyzes real-world data; organizes and conducts systematic reviews; and conducts health economic studies from simple cost studies to advanced models. She is an active member of the WCCC and has chaired the real-world evidence group and currently chair the clinical trial committee group. Dr Carter has also led international projects with the WHO and been part of research efforts with the FDA, CMS and the Alliance of Wound Care Stakeholders. She holds an MA in biochemistry from Oxford University and a PhD in chemistry from Brandeis University and is the author or coauthor of over 150 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters in medicine and chemistry.
